In her final year of college, Laura’s first acting experience was a professional play. She was cast as Elizabeth Menard, a small role in The Coronation Voyage by Michel Marc Bouchard at the Belfry Theatre. It was during this grand, symbolic production, while acting alongside compelling and seasoned actors, that Laura realized she needed to pursue this type of storytelling. After college she continued her studies in acting for the stage and screen. Favourite roles include Abby in The Mystery Plays (NVCP) and Sheree in The Dixie Swim Club (Peninsula Productions). Currently, Laura has immersed herself practicing acting for the screen and studying with James Kot and Andrew McIlroy (McIlroy and associates).
