Laura’s first acting job was playing a Queen Elizabeth-obsessed teen sailing over to London for the coronation.  It was a small role in The Coronation Voyage by Michel Marc Bouchard at the Belfry Theatre.  During this beautiful production, while acting alongside such compelling and seasoned actors, that Laura realized she needed to pursue this type of storytelling. She's been acting for the stage and screen ever since. Favourite roles include Ermengarde in Hello, Dolly! (Vancouver Playhouse), Mrs. Potiphar in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat (Chemainus Theatre), Tess in Crazy for You (Gateway Theatre) Abby in The Mystery Plays (NVCP) and Sheree in The Dixie Swim Club (Peninsula Productions)... just to name a few.  You can see you her next in 9 to 5 this summer at The Chemainus Theatre Festival.
She is also a mother, a wife and a bandwagon knitter.
